According to a notice issued by China Investment Information Services Limited on October 30 on the regular adjustment of the list of ETFs eligible for Southbound Stock Connect trading, 10 ETFs will be added to the list with effect from November 9. The additions are ChinaAMC HK-US AI ETF (03140.HK), Harvest Tech 50 ETF (03169.HK), CSOP FTSE Asia Tech Index ETF (03473.HK), CSOP Nomura FTSE HK-Japan Equity Cash Flow Focus Index ETF (03535.HK), Galaxy Bosera MSCI China ASEAN Economic Linkage Select Index ETF (02805.HK), Fullgoal Hang Seng HK High Dividend ETF (03031.HK), Fubon Hang Seng Shanghai-Shenzhen-Hong Kong High Dividend ETF (03190.HK), Global X China Life Franklin HK-US Equity Select ETF (03428.HK), Hang Seng High Dividend 30 Index ETF (03466.HK) and Value Partners HK-US Dividend Low Volatility ETF (03488.HK). The additions cover artificial intelligence, technology, high dividend and low-volatility dividend strategies.

Data from NewTimeSpace Research Institute shows a structural feature on November 2 of "recovery in consumer and technology growth against a pullback in AI infrastructure and resources". The upside was driven jointly by liquor, clean energy, internet, ChiNext, STAR 50 and cloud computing, with all top-ten gainers up at least 2.46% and E Fund (HK) CSI Liquor Index ETF leading for a second consecutive session. The downside was concentrated in AI infrastructure, copper mining, blockchain, gold miner and metals, with a maximum decline of 3.75%. Compared with October 30, when the gainers list was almost entirely liquor, dividend and A-share broad-based products, dividend names dropped out of the top ranks and technology growth retook the majority of seats, while the losers list shifted from pure technology hardware to AI infrastructure, resources and regional themes, with STAR 50, ChiNext and HK-Korea technology products moving into the gainers list. On the Southbound side, Hang Seng TECH products rose collectively while dividend and biotech products edged lower, broadly in line with the overall market direction.
