NewTimeSpace Research data shows the day's core feature was a further widening divergence between defensive and growth names. The gainers were dominated by dividend and high-dividend-yield products, with the biggest gain at 1.65%; on the downside, growth and semiconductor segments fell broadly by more than 3.9%, with the biggest decliner, Bosera SZSE ChiNext Daily (2x) Leveraged Product, down 8.84% on the day, a marked widening from 5.32% on September 24. Dividend products held the majority of seats on the gainers list for a second consecutive trading day, while declines on the growth side widened and spread from biotech to 5G, AI and optical communication, further stretching the gap between the two ends versus the previous stage.
