STAR 50, ChiNext and little-giant plays led the gains, with five ETFs — Bosera STAR 50 Index ETF, Bosera SZSE ChiNext Daily (2x) Leveraged Product, Global X China Little Giant ETF, Global X China Semiconductor ETF and CSOP STAR 50 Index ETF — each rising more than 4%. Asian semiconductor and 5G communications themes strengthened in tandem, and gold miners also posted a sizeable gain. On the downside, innovative finance, blockchain and biotech names pulled back modestly, with overall losses limited. Gains were concentrated in tech growth themes such as STAR 50, ChiNext and little giants. Bosera STAR 50 Index ETF (02832.HK), managed by Bosera Asset Management (International), surged 4.77% to top the gainers list; CSOP STAR 50 Index ETF (03109.HK), managed by CSOP Asset Management Limited, rose 4.08%; and Premia China STAR50 ETF (03151.HK), managed by Premia Partners Company Limited, rose 3.71%. All three STAR 50 products (02832, 03109 and 03151) posted substantial gains, forming a notable cluster effect within the sector. Bosera SZSE ChiNext Daily (2x) Leveraged Product (07234.HK), managed by Bosera Asset Management (International) and tracking a leveraged ChiNext Index product, rose 4.62% to rank second.

Little-giant and semiconductor themes strengthened in tandem. Global X China Little Giant ETF (02815.HK), managed by Mirae Asset Global Investments (Hong Kong), rose 4.61%, tracking the Solactive China Little Giant Index; Global X China Semiconductor ETF (03191.HK), from the same manager, rose 4.29%, tracking the FactSet China Semiconductor Index; and E Fund (HK) Solactive Asia Semiconductor Select Index ETF (03486.HK), managed by E Fund Asset Management (Hong Kong) Limited, rose 3.46%.

Gold miners posted a sizeable gain and 5G communications also performed. E Fund (HK) Solactive Global Gold Miner Select Index ETF (02824.HK), managed by E Fund Asset Management (Hong Kong) Limited, rose 3.66%, rebounding after a 3.10% decline the previous day; CSOP Yinhua CSI 5G Communications Theme ETF (03193.HK), managed by CSOP Asset Management Limited, rose 3.10%, tracking the CSI 5G Communication Index.

In addition, CSOP KOSPI 200 Covered Call Active ETF (03537.HK), managed by CSOP Asset Management Limited, rose 2.46%.
