Data from NewTimeSpace Research showed that on 27 August 2026 the Hong Kong ETF market displayed a rotation featuring a broad Chinese technology rally versus modest pressure on defensive segments. China Little Giant, China Semiconductor and STAR 50 attracted concentrated buying and led the gains, while clean energy, high-dividend, gold miner and consumer products retreated collectively. Market leadership rotated swiftly from the previous session's financial technology and Taiwan blockchain to China Little Giant and semiconductor territory, with the Chinese technology complex staging a full-scale counterattack and forming momentum with the A-share STAR Growth direction, while high-dividend defensive products extended their correction.
