Data from NewTimeSpace Research showed that on 11 August 2026 the Shanghai-Shenzhen Stock Connect ETFs market exhibited a pronounced strength-weakness divergence of smart manufacturing and new energy strengthening while resource and cyclical sectors retreated across the board. Directions including robots, energy storage batteries and batteries posted moderate gains; while gold stocks, non-ferrous metals, rare metals and satellites collectively suffered a rare sharp pullback, with the declines on the decliners board far exceeding the gains on the gainers board, as market capital rapidly withdrew from the previous resource defensive areas. Market hotspots rotated from the previous day's semiconductor equipment and livestock farming to robots and energy storage batteries, with the resource and cyclical sector becoming the main under-pressure direction of the day and the pace of sector rotation clearly accelerating.
