According to the latest data from OpenRouter, the total global API call volume for AI large language models reached 46.7 trillion tokens last week (June 15–21), representing a week-on-week increase of 4.7% and marking the ninth consecutive week of growth. Notably, Chinese AI models recorded a weekly volume of 18.81 trillion tokens, up slightly by 2.12% week-on-week, outperforming the United States for the eighth consecutive week to secure the top global position. Among the top five models globally by call volume, the top four were all Chinese models: DeepSeek-V4-Flash held the number one spot for the fifth consecutive week with 4.94 trillion tokens; Xiaomi's MiMo-V2.5 climbed to second place (3.94 trillion tokens); MiniMax M3 ranked third (3.77 trillion tokens); and Tencent's Hy3 preview placed fourth (3.63 trillion tokens). In aggregate, models under the DeepSeek banner registered a weekly call volume of 8.65 trillion tokens, accounting for 18.5% of the global total and retaining the top spot for the sixth consecutive week.
