SIMCERE ZAIMING HKEX Listing Application Lapses Upon Six-Month Expiry; Recorded Most Out-Licensing Transactions Among Chinese Biopharma Firms in 2025
NewTimeSpace News: The listing application filed by Simcere Zaiming Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. with The Stock Exchange of Hong Kong Limited on 9 January 2026 has lapsed upon expiration of the six-month validity window. Morgan Stanley and China International Capital Corporation served as the original joint sponsors.
The Company is a biopharmaceutical enterprise concentrating on the research, development and commercialisation of innovative oncology medicines, covering a full value chain from drug discovery through manufacturing to commercial launch. Its marketed portfolio comprises five innovative medicines, including Endostar®, China’s first anti-angiogenic agent; Cosela®, the world-first myeloprotective agent for comprehensive bone marrow protection; and Erlitux®, the first domestically developed anti-EGFR monoclonal antibody in China. Four of the five commercialised products have been included in the National Reimbursement Drug List.
