OLYMVAX Resubmits HKEX Listing Application, Aims to Be the First Listed Superbug Vaccine Stock
NewTimeSpace News: Chengdu Olymvax Biopharmaceuticals Inc. submitted its second Main Board listing application to The Stock Exchange of Hong Kong Limited on 30 June, with CITIC Securities acting as the sole sponsor. According to China Insights Consultancy (CIC) research, measured by revenue in 2025, the Company’s adsorbed tetanus vaccine ranked first in China’s adsorbed tetanus vaccine market with a market share of approximately 98.8%.

Olymvax Biopharmaceuticals is an innovative biopharmaceutical enterprise engaged in the research, development, production and commercialization of novel vaccines, with strategic focus on two core tracks: superbug vaccines and adult vaccines. Three products of the Company have achieved commercial launch: adsorbed tetanus toxoid vaccine, Haemophilus influenzae type b (Hib) conjugate vaccine, and Group A & C meningococcal polysaccharide conjugate vaccine.
Per CIC industry data, based on revenue in 2025, the Company’s adsorbed tetanus toxoid vaccine secured the leading position in China’s adsorbed tetanus vaccine sector with a market share of around 98.8%, holding an almost monopolistic position in the market. The Group also boasts a robust pipeline of vaccine candidates targeting superbugs, covering pathogens includingStaphylococcus aureus,Helicobacter pylori,Pseudomonas aeruginosa,Acinetobacter baumanniiand Group A Streptococcus. Multiple such pathogens are classified as critical or high-priority resistant bacteria by the World Health Organization (WHO).
