Huachuang New Materials Files for HKEX Listing, Ranked World’s 3rd Largest Electrolytic Copper Foil Producer
NewTimeSpace News: As disclosed by the Hong Kong Stock Exchange, Anhui Huachuang New Materials Co., Ltd. (“Huachuang New Materials”) filed for main board listing on June 11, 2026, with CITIC Securities acting as the sole sponsor.
Founded in 2016 and backed by Huayou Holding, Huachuang New Materials is a high-tech enterprise specializing in the R&D, production and sales of high-performance electrolytic copper foil. Its product portfolio includes lithium-ion battery copper foil (serving as negative current collectors for lithium batteries) and electronic circuit copper foil (a core conductive material for copper-clad laminates and PCBs), widely used in consumer electronics, communications equipment, automotive electronics, digital infrastructure and other fields.
With production bases in Tongling (Anhui), Yulin (Guangxi) and Nanchang (Jiangxi), the company boasts an annual production capacity of 150,000 tons of copper foil. It is a key supplier to leading domestic and international lithium battery manufacturers.
According to Frost & Sullivan, global electrolytic copper foil shipments surged from 816,000 tons in 2021 to 1.854 million tons in 2025, representing a CAGR of 22.8%, and are projected to reach 4.345 million tons by 2030.
Financially, Huachuang New Materials reported revenues of RMB 4.36 billion (2023), RMB 5.53 billion (2024) and RMB 8.63 billion (2025), with lithium battery copper foil consistently contributing over 94% of total revenue.
