Guangdong Huacheng Electric Power Files for HKEX Listing, Holding Class A Licenses for Power Project Design & Consultancy

NewTimeSpace News: Guangdong Huacheng Electric Power Energy Co., Ltd. filed a listing application with HKEX on May 15, with Regal Corporate Finance Limited acting as the sole sponsor. According to Frost & Sullivan, it is one of only two private enterprises in Guangdong that hold both Class A licenses for power project design and consultancy. The company has delivered power design and project management services for landmark infrastructures including the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge and Shenzhen-Zhongshan Link.

Founded in 2003 and headquartered in Zhuhai, Guangdong, the company is an integrated energy solution provider focusing on new-type power energy, with core strengths in power project design and engineering management. It offers full-spectrum energy solutions covering three major phases: firstly, drafting project proposals and feasibility study reports at the consultancy stage; secondly, conducting survey, engineering design, procurement and construction (EPC) during implementation; and thirdly, providing operation and maintenance services in the operational phase.

Per Frost & Sullivan research, the firm ranks among the two private entities in Guangdong that simultaneously possess Class A qualifications for power engineering design and consultancy, enabling it to undertake power projects of all scales. It boasts a nationwide client base, covering subsidiaries of China Southern Power Grid as well as listed and private enterprises engaged in the design, construction and operation of power generation and transmission facilities in China. It has previously provided professional power design and engineering management services for iconic mega infrastructure projects such as the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge and Shenzhen-Zhongshan Link.
