NewTimeSpace News: On 4 November 2026, Shanghai Fosun Pharmaceutical (Group) Co., Ltd. (stock code: 02196) published an overseas regulatory announcement under Rule 13.10B, saying controlling subsidiary Shanghai Fosun Pharmaceutical Industrial Development Co., Ltd. began a Phase III trial in mainland China of FXS6837 capsules, formerly coded XH-S003, for paroxysmal nocturnal haemoglobinuria.
FXS6837 is a small-molecule complement system inhibitor with proprietary intellectual property, targeting diseases driven by abnormal complement activation. Its other indication, IgA nephropathy and related glomerular diseases, is in Phase IIb trials in mainland China. Cumulative R&D spending on FXS6837 reached about RMB 199 million as at September 2026, unaudited. IQVIA CHPA data put 2025 mainland sales of leading drugs for the condition at about RMB 295 million.
