CHABAIDAO (02555.HK): Removed from HSI Series After Suspension Over Regulatory Investigation, Effective 23 October 2026

On 14 October 2026, Hang Seng Indexes announced that CHABAIDAO (02555.HK), whose shares are suspended pending regulatory investigation, will be removed from the Hang Seng Indexes series. It will be set at the minimum price of HKD 0.0001 before the open on 22 October and removed at that price after the close, effective 23 October 2026.

NewTimeSpace News: The Hang Seng Indexes Company issued an index notice on 14October 2026 stating that, following the suspension of trading in the shares of Sichuan Baicha Baidao Industrial Co., Ltd. (Hong Kong Stock Exchange stock code: 02555, "CHABAIDAO") listed on the Stock Exchange pending investigation by a regulatory authority, its shares will be removed from the Hang Seng Indexes series.

According to the notice, CHABAIDAO will be adjusted to the system minimum price of HKD 0.0001 before market open on 22 October 2026 (Thursday) and such price will be used for index calculation on that day, after which the shares will be removed from the relevant indexes at HKD 0.0001 at the close of the market that day. The said changes will take effect from 23 October 2026 (Friday).

The notice specifies that CHABAIDAO will be removed from the Hang Seng Composite Index, the Hang Seng Composite Industry Index – Consumer Necessities, the Hang Seng Composite SmallCap Index and the Hang Seng Composite Small & MidCap Index, together with their related sub-indexes.
