STD DEV GROUP (01867.HK): Subsidiary Wins ISCC EU and ISCC PLUS Certification from RINA for Waste Tyre-Based Low-Carbon Fuel Tech
NewTimeSpace News: On 13 October 2026, Standard Development Group Limited (stock code: 01867) voluntarily announced that its subsidiary, Standard Development (Shandong) Co., Ltd., has recently passed an independent audit conducted by RINA Services S.p.A, a certification body under the International Sustainability and Carbon Certification (ISCC) framework, and was awarded ISCC EU and ISCC PLUS certifications.
The Company said the certifications confirm that Standard Development (Shandong) meets the sustainability requirements and greenhouse gas emission reduction standards defined by the European Renewable Energy Directive, as well as the sustainability requirements defined by ISCC for the bioeconomy and circular economy. Specifically, they cover the technical knowledge, capability and technical compliance pathway for processing various waste carbon-based resources, such as waste tyres, into low-carbon marine fuel oil, low-carbon diesel and sustainable aviation fuel.
Following the ISCC EU certification previously obtained by the Group in the bio-methane and bio-methanol fields, the Company said the certifications mark progress in expanding its green energy product portfolio, including establishing the technical process for producing low-carbon fuel from carbon-based waste such as industrial waste tyres, and building a clean energy technology reserve covering multiple scenarios across marine, land, aviation and industrial applications. The Company cautioned that subsequent engineering implementation, production line construction progress, actual capacity release, market and customer development, order signing timelines, and the actual contribution to financial performance and operating results will remain subject to internal and external uncertainties, including macroeconomic and policy changes, fluctuations in market fuel prices and the Group's capital expenditure plans.
