NewTimeSpace News: On 12 October 2026, Transcenta Holding Limited (stock code: 06628) announced that an invention patent application titled "Anti-CLDN18.2 Antibodies and Diagnostic Uses Thereof" (application number: CN202180041601.5), filed by its wholly-owned subsidiary Suzhou Transcenta Therapeutics Group Co., Ltd., has been granted by the China National Intellectual Property Administration (CNIPA), with the grant publication number CN115836090B and a grant publication date of 25 September 2026.

The patent covers the Group's self-developed anti-CLDN18.2 antibody and its diagnostic use for detecting CLDN18.2 expression, and the relevant antibody is the Group's proprietary Claudin18.2 antibody developed for the companion diagnostic of osemitamab (TST001). The Group continues to collaborate with Agilent Technologies, a global leader in companion diagnostics, to advance the Claudin18.2 companion diagnostic (CDx) in support of TranStar301, a global Phase III pivotal trial of osemitamab (TST001) in combination with checkpoint inhibitors and chemotherapy as first-line treatment for patients with CLDN18.2-expressing locally advanced or metastatic gastric or gastroesophageal junction adenocarcinoma.

The Company said the grant provides a key foundation for the Group's IP protection around Claudin18.2 and its CDx development, further consolidating the IP position of osemitamab (TST001) and supporting its precision medicine strategy, clinical development and future registration and commercialisation in China.
