On 8 Oct 2026, HUARONG ENERGY (01101.HK) said Leung Yin Fai will resign as company secretary and authorised representative from 30 Oct, breaching Rule 3.28.

NewTimeSpace News: On 8 October 2026, China Huarong Energy Company Limited (the "Company") announced that Ms. Leung Yin Fai will resign as the Company's company secretary and as its authorised representative under Rule 3.05 of the Listing Rules of the Stock Exchange of Hong Kong with effect from 30 October 2026. Ms. Leung confirmed that she has no disagreement with the board and that no matter relating to her ceasing to act as company secretary and authorised representative needs to be brought to the attention of the Company's shareholders.

The announcement stated that, following Ms. Leung's resignation as company secretary and authorised representative, the Company will be unable to meet the requirement under Rule 3.28 of the Listing Rules or the requirement for a listed issuer to appoint two authorised representatives under Rule 3.05. The Company is actively identifying suitable candidates for the roles of company secretary and authorised representative in accordance with Rules 3.05 and 3.28, and will make further announcements as appropriate.
