NewTimeSpace News: On 8 October 2026, Silkwave Inc (the "Company") announced that on 8 October 2026 it entered into a memorandum of understanding (the "MOU") with Altura UAV Co., Ltd. ("Altura") in respect of in-depth cooperation in the R&D, manufacturing, application and market development of industrial-grade drones. Altura is an investment holding company established under Thai law specialising in the R&D, production, sales and servicing of industrial-grade drone systems, with products covering VTOL fixed-wing, hybrid heavy-lift, logistics, agricultural plant protection and emergency rescue series, together with smart hangar systems and various mission payloads; its flagship products include the AT-V12, AT-V30 and AT-V50E/H, featuring long endurance, large payload, high reliability and rapid deployment for surveying, inspection, logistics, agriculture and emergency rescue.

The announcement disclosed that the board believes the proposed cooperation, if implemented, will combine the parties' resources and expertise in satellite communications and industrial-grade drones to create synergies in four areas: technology R&D — jointly advancing next-generation long-endurance, large-payload drones and smart hangar systems; market expansion — combining Altura's products with the Company's satellite data network for the "Belt and Road" and ASEAN markets; funding support — Altura intends to strengthen R&D, manufacturing and its supply chain through capital injection; and emergency and public services — exploring applications in disaster relief, border patrol and energy pipeline monitoring.

The Company stated that the MOU is a framework document and does not constitute a legally binding contract; the parties' specific rights and obligations are subject to a formal agreement to be signed later. Within three months from the MOU's effective date, the parties agreed to assign professionals for exclusive negotiations. The board considers that entering into the MOU is in the overall interests of the Company and its shareholders and will help enhance the Company's competitiveness in the global industrial drone market; the Company will inform shareholders of any material progress as soon as practicable, and shareholders and potential investors should exercise caution when dealing in the shares.
