NewTimeSpace News: On 6 October 2026, Lai Sun Development Company Limited (stock code: 00488) announced that, based on publicly available information, its public float as at the date of the announcement was 19.60%, remaining below the level required under the Listing Rules, under which 25% of the Company's entire issued share capital must be held by the public.

The Company said it will continue to explore all feasible options to restore its public float, including but not limited to discussing with its connected persons the sale of part of their respective shareholdings, and expects to restore its public float within six months from the date of the announcement dated 6 July 2026. The Company will comply with the Listing Rules by making further announcements in due course to provide shareholders with further details on the restoration of its public float, and will publish monthly announcements under the Listing Rules until its public float is restored.
