GAPACK (00468.HK): Listing Committee decides to cancel listing
NewTimeSpace News: On 5 October 2026, Greatview Aseptic Packaging Company Limited (stock code: 00468) announced that on 2 October 2026 it received a letter from the Stock Exchange stating that the Listing Committee has decided to cancel the listing of the Company's shares under Rule 6.01A(1) of the Listing Rules.
The announcement disclosed that the Decision was made because the Listing Committee considered that the Company had not fulfilled all of the Resumption Guidance and resumed trading by 18 August 2026. In particular, the Stock Exchange was of the view that the Company had failed to restore the minimum public float required under Rule 8.08(1)(a) (Resumption Guidance 1), to conduct an internal control review and demonstrate adequate internal controls and procedures (Resumption Guidance 5), and to inform the market of all material information (Resumption Guidance 7).
The announcement stated that, under Chapter 2B of the Listing Rules, the Company has the right to have the Decision referred to the Listing Review Committee for review within seven business days of the date of issue of the Decision, i.e. on or before 13 October 2026. If the Company decides not to apply for the Review, the last day of listing of the Shares will be 16 October 2026, and the listing will be cancelled with effect from 9:00 a.m. on 20 October 2026. The Company is currently reviewing the Decision and discussing with its professional advisers whether to lodge a review request. Trading in the Shares has been suspended since 9:00 a.m. on 19 February 2025 and will remain suspended until further notice.
