EPS HEALTH TECH (03860.HK):interim loss after tax expected to rise by about HKD 8–12 million
NewTimeSpace News: On 2 October 2026, EPS Health Tech Group Limited (stock code: 03860) announced that, following a preliminary review of the Group's latest unaudited consolidated management accounts for the five months ended 31 August 2026 and the information currently available to the Company, the Group expects to record an increase in loss after tax of approximately HKD 8 million to approximately HKD 12 million for the six months ended 30 September 2026 (the Period) as compared with the corresponding period in 2025.
The announcement stated that the expected increase in loss for the Period was mainly due to a decline in revenue from the IRO and CRO services business as a result of highly intense market competition, and a decrease in the gross profit of the healthcare products and pharmaceutical business affected by rising procurement costs and clearance of low-priced inventory. During the Period, given the challenging market environment, the Group also expects the garment business to record a segment loss of approximately HKD 2 million, comparable to the corresponding period in 2025. The Company cautioned that the information contained in the announcement is based only on a preliminary assessment by the Board and has not been audited or reviewed by the Company's auditors or reviewed by the audit committee, and is subject to adjustment; details of the Group's financial information and performance for the Period will be disclosed in the interim results announcement expected to be published at the end of November 2026.
