NewTimeSpace News: On 30 September 2026, InSilico Medicine Cayman TopCo (stock code: 03696.HK) announced that, driven by its proprietary generative AI platform, it has nominated ISM1354, a potentially best-in-class next-generation small-molecule GIPR antagonist, as a preclinical candidate compound (PCC) for obesity, type 2 diabetes and related conditions, with potential expansion into cardiovascular disease.
In January this year, the Company nominated another GIPR antagonist, ISM0676, which achieved up to 31.3% weight loss in humanized mouse models when combined with semaglutide. The latest PCC retains good drug-like properties and adds multi-dimensional optimization in pharmacokinetics (PK) and safety. The Company has nominated 10 PCCs in the first nine months of 2026, a record annual pipeline output, bringing its total PCC nominations since 2021 to 34.
