CHI ASIA VALLEY (00063.HK): Interim Profit HK$3.3m; No Dividend
NewTimeSpace News: On 30 September 2026, CHI ASIA VALLEY (stock code: 00063) published its 2026 interim report: for the six months ended 30 June 2026, the Group's revenue was approximately HK$78,468,000, up about 8% from approximately HK$72,744,000 a year earlier; profit for the period was approximately HK$3,301,000 (2025 interim: approximately HK$2,223,000), of which approximately HK$3,505,000 was attributable to owners of the Company, with basic and diluted earnings per share of 0.06 HK cents (2025 interim: 0.03 HK cents).
By segment, property investment contributed approximately HK$62,507,000 (up about 7% year on year), property management and other related services approximately HK$10,273,000 (up about 14%), gardening services and plant sales approximately HK$3,248,000 and construction services approximately HK$2,446,000. Operating profit was approximately HK$15,221,000, finance costs approximately HK$11,854,000 (down about 11%), and the fair value gain on investment properties approximately HK$3,825,000.
As at 30 June 2026, the Group's net asset value was approximately HK$551,984,000, or HK$0.09 per share; outstanding bank borrowings were HK$112,000,000 and the gearing ratio was 74% (31 December 2025: 97%). The board does not recommend any interim dividend for the reporting period (2025 interim: nil).
During the period, a subsidiary subscribed in cash for RMB77,647,100 (approximately HK$86,274,000) of new registered capital of Guangdong Youwei Industrial Co., Ltd., representing 66% of its enlarged capital, marking the Group's transition from a fee-earning managing agent and lessee to an integrated property developer and long-term asset holder; the asset is valued at RMB120 million.
