YING HAI GROUP (08668.HK): Macao Unit Wins Taxi Licence for Up to 50 Cars

NewTimeSpace News: On 29 September 2026, Ying Hai Group Holdings Company Limited (stock code: 08668.HK) announced on a voluntary basis that the Group is expanding into a new taxi operation business in public transport and travel. Its indirect wholly-owned subsidiary, C U Macau Company Limited, participated in the Public Tender for the Granting of General Licenses for the Transportation of Passengers in Rental Cars 2026 conducted by the Transport Bureau of the Macao Special Administrative Region and was granted a general licence.

The general licence permits C U Macau to apply for ancillary licences in respect of up to 50 taxis in Macau, each with a passenger capacity of six or above. The term of the general licence is eight years, commencing on the date of grant of the first ancillary licence. The Company is advancing the relevant preparatory work, and the Board expects the business to begin generating revenue no later than the third quarter of 2027.

The Group is a Macau-based licensed integrated tourism operator and an organiser of shows and events in Asia, principally engaged in travel, vehicle and show-and-event businesses. The Board considers the new taxi operation business complementary to the Group's existing business and expects it to bring a new revenue stream and strengthen the Group's operating cash flows.
