E-HOUSE ENT (02048.HK): HK Scheme Becomes Effective on 28 September
NewTimeSpace News: On 28 September 2026, E-House (China) Enterprise Holdings Limited (stock code: 02048.HK) announced that, by an order made on 11 September 2026, the High Court of Hong Kong sanctioned the proposed scheme of arrangement between the Company and the Scheme Creditors under sections 670, 673 and 674 of the Companies Ordinance (Cap. 622 of the laws of Hong Kong) (the HK Scheme); each of the HK Scheme Conditions has been satisfied and the HK Scheme Effective Date occurred on 28 September 2026, and the HK Scheme has become effective in accordance with its terms.
The announcement stated that the Restructuring remains subject to the satisfaction or waiver of the conditions set out in Clause 6.1 of the Schemes and summarised in Section 6.13 of the Explanatory Statement, including the sanction of the Cayman Scheme by the Grand Court of the Cayman Islands and the occurrence of the Cayman Scheme Effective Date. The Cayman Scheme Sanction Hearing is presently scheduled to take place at 10:00 a.m. Cayman Islands time (11:00 p.m. Hong Kong time) on 9 October 2026. The Company will make further announcement(s) to inform Shareholders and other investors of any material development relating to the Restructuring as and when appropriate.
