NewTimeSpace News: On 24 September 2026, China Railway Signal & Communication Corporation Limited (stock code: 03969.HK) announced that from July to August 2026, the Company was awarded a total of three important projects in the railway market. The Bayin Aobao industrial park special railway line project of Alxa High-tech Industrial Development Zone, Inner Mongolia, was awarded at RMB529 million; bid section 1 of the construction procurement for phase II (7 lines) of the 5G retrofit project for high-speed-rail public network coverage of the Fujian Branch of China Tower Corporation Limited for 2026 was awarded at RMB290 million; and the public bidding project for the procurement of track-circuit materials and equipment under the 7th Batch of secondary self-purchased materials for the XYKYRD-1 bid section of the "Four-electrical" system integration and related works for the Ankang-Chongqing section of the newly-built Xi'an-Chongqing High-speed Railway was awarded at RMB157 million.

According to the announcement, the first project has a total line length of 7.977 km, with the Company responsible for its construction and operation, over a construction period of approximately 18 months up to the end of the project's operation period. The second is the 5G retrofit project for public network coverage of the Wenzhou-Fuzhou High-speed Railway, with the Company responsible for the construction of the communication system, an execution cycle of approximately 9 months and a warranty period of 24 months, totalling 33 months. The third project has a total line length of 353.002 km with a designed operating speed of 350 km/h and will be equipped with the CTCS-3 train control system; the Company will supply track-circuit equipment, with an execution cycle of approximately 28 months and a warranty period of 24 months, totalling 52 months.

The Company said the aggregate successful bid amount of the above projects is approximately RMB976 million, accounting for approximately 2.81% of its audited total operating revenue for 2025 under the PRC accounting standards. As the projects will be implemented in phases across years, their impact on the results for the current period is uncertain; if formal contracts are entered into and implemented smoothly, they are expected to have a relatively positive impact on the Company during the execution period. The Company has no connected relationship with the above bid originators, and the awards do not affect its business independence. The projects have been announced as successfully bid but formal contracts have not yet been entered into, which involves uncertainty, and the final amounts and performance terms are subject to the formal contracts entered into.
