CENTRALCHINA MT (09982.HK): Proposes Renaming to Centric Cogni Mgmt Tech Group, Pivoting to Tech

NewTimeSpace News: On 23 September 2026, Central China Management Company Limited (the "Company") announced a proposed change of company name. The board proposes to change the Company's English name from "Central China Management Company Limited" to "Centric Cogni Management Technology Group Limited" .

The announcement disclosed that the Group has been mainly engaged in real estate construction agency services. The board intends to transform the Group's business towards technology and technology management, and considers that the proposed name change will better reflect the Group's intended development direction and future corporate image and is in the overall interests of shareholders. The proposed name change itself does not constitute a discloseable transaction or a major business change.

The Company stated that the proposed name change is subject to two conditions: approval by shareholders of a special resolution at an extraordinary general meeting; and approval by the Registrar of Companies of the Cayman Islands. Upon effectiveness, existing issued shares will continue to serve as evidence of ownership and remain valid for trading, settlement and delivery, and the Company will not make any arrangement for free exchange of new shares. Following the name change and confirmation of the new stock short name by the Exchange, the Company will publish a further announcement.
