COFOE MEDICAL (01187.HK): Cuts A-share Buyback Price Cap to RMB 69.09/share After Interim Dividend
NewTimeSpace News: On 22 September 2026, Cofoe Medical Technology Co., Ltd. (the "Company") published an overseas regulatory announcement. The Company previously approved at its 7th meeting of the 3rd board of directors on 26 June 2026 and its 2nd extraordinary general meeting on 20 July 2026 a plan to repurchase part of its issued RMB ordinary shares (A shares) via centralized competitive trading for cancellation and capital reduction, with a repurchase amount of not less than RMB 100 million (inclusive) and not more than RMB 200 million (inclusive), an original repurchase price cap of RMB 69.66 per share, a term of 12 months from board approval, and full cancellation of repurchased shares to reduce registered capital.
The announcement disclosed that the Company's 2026 interim profit distribution plan is to pay a cash dividend of RMB 6 (tax inclusive) per 10 shares to all shareholders based on total share capital excluding the repurchase account at the record date, with no capital reserve conversion or bonus shares. The A-share dividend record date is 29 September 2026 and the ex-dividend date is 30 September 2026. On the basis of total A shares (including repurchased shares), the per-share cash dividend (tax inclusive) is RMB 0.5718728.
Pursuant to the repurchase plan, any ex-dividend event during the repurchase period triggers an adjustment to the price cap from the ex-dividend date. The adjusted repurchase price cap = RMB 69.66 per share − RMB 0.5718728 = approximately RMB 69.09 per share (rounded to two decimals), effective from 30 September 2026. At this cap, the upper-amount scenario implies a repurchase of about 2,894,774 shares (c. 1.23% of total share capital) and the lower-amount scenario about 1,447,387 shares (c. 0.61%). Other terms of the repurchase remain unchanged.
