CDB LEASING (01606.HK): Bao Quanyong Appointed President

NewTimeSpace News: On 21 September 2026, China Development Bank Financial Leasing Co., Ltd. (stock code: 01606.HK) announced that the Shenzhen Financial Regulatory Bureau has approved the qualification of Bao Quanyong to serve as president of the Company and an executive director of the third session of the Board, and that the Board has resolved that he will concurrently serve as vice chairman of the Company. Accordingly, the appointments of Bao Quanyong as president, executive director of the third session of the Board and vice chairman of the Company took effect on 18 September 2026, and his directorship will continue until the expiry of the term of the third session of the Board, subject to re-election upon expiry.
The announcement showed that Bao Quanyong was elected as an executive director of the third session of the Board at the extraordinary general meeting held on 18 May 2026, and that his biographical details, as set out in the Company's circular dated 24 April 2026, remained unchanged as at the date of the announcement. The announcement also noted that under Rule C.2.1 of Part 2 of the Corporate Governance Code set out in Appendix C1 to the Listing Rules, the roles of chairman and chief executive should be separate and should not be performed by the same individual, and that following Bao Quanyong's assumption of the president role the Company has complied with the relevant requirement.
