S ROBOT EDU (08206.HK): Appoints Grand Finance Capital as Independent Financial Adviser; Trading Remains Suspended

NewTimeSpace News: On 9 September 2026, Shen Tong Robot Education Group Limited announced that, upon approval of the independent board committee, Grand Finance Capital Limited, a licensed corporation conducting Type 1 (dealing in securities) and Type 6 (advising on corporate finance) regulated activities under the Securities and Futures Ordinance, had been appointed as independent financial adviser to advise the independent board committee and independent shareholders, and to make voting recommendations, on whether (i) the debt capitalisation, (ii) the subscription agreement and the transactions contemplated thereunder (including the grant of the specific mandate), and (iii) the whitewash waiver are fair and reasonable to the independent shareholders.

According to the announcement, the opinion letter of the independent financial adviser will be included in the circular to be despatched to shareholders. Trading in the company's shares has been suspended since 9:00 a.m. on 14 October 2025 and will remain suspended until further notice, pending fulfilment of the resumption guidance.
