ADWAY (06189.HK): Executive Director Liu Zhenyu Appointed as Chief Executive Officer

On 9 September 2026, Guangdong ADWAY Construction (Group) Holdings Company Limited (06189.HK) announced the appointment of executive director Mr. Liu Zhenyu as chief executive officer with effect from 7 September 2026; Mr. Liu, aged 53, joined the group on 27 August 2026 and previously served in management roles at China Construction Second Engineering Bureau and several other companies, under a three-year service agreement with annual remuneration of RMB 80,000 (before tax).

NewTimeSpace News: On 9 September 2026, Guangdong ADWAY Construction (Group) Holdings Company Limited (06189.HK) announced that executive director Mr. Liu Zhenyu had been appointed as the chief executive officer of the company with effect from 7 September 2026.

According to the announcement, Mr. Liu, aged 53, joined the group on 27 August 2026. He graduated from Harbin Institute of Architecture and Civil Engineering (now Harbin Institute of Technology), majoring in construction enterprise economics and management. Mr. Liu began his career in 1996 at China Construction Second Engineering Bureau Third Company Shenzhen Branch (now its South China Branch), where he served in various positions including budget department specialist and deputy head, and head of the engineering department and assistant to the general manager. He left to pursue his own business in 2003 and has since accumulated extensive management experience in telecommunications, power, property development and new energy, having served as legal representative and general manager of a number of enterprises including Shenzhen Zhenyu Communication Development Co., Ltd., Huazhong China Power Group Southern Power Supply Company, Shenzhen Hutchison Fuhua Real Estate Co., Ltd. and Guangxi Xingneng Power Generation Co., Ltd., with over 20 years of experience in corporate management, project development and industry operations.

The company has entered into a service agreement with Mr. Liu for his executive director position with an initial term of three years, under which he is entitled to an annual remuneration of RMB 80,000 (before tax), subject to review by the remuneration committee and the board from time to time.
