GDC (08271.HK): Guangzhou court dismisses all claims of RMB 129.8 million against subsidiary

NewTimeSpace News: On 1 September 2026, Global Digital Creations Holdings Limited (stock code: 08271) issued an inside information announcement regarding an update on litigation. Reference is made to the Company's announcement dated 31 March 2026 regarding a civil summons served by the Guangzhou Intermediate People's Court on the Company's indirect wholly-owned subsidiary, Global Digital Media Technology Research (Shenzhen) Co., Ltd. (the "Defendant"). On 31 August 2026, the Defendant received the civil judgment from the Guangzhou Intermediate People's Court.

According to the civil judgment, all claims made by the plaintiff, Pearl River Film Studio Co., Ltd. (the "Plaintiff"), involving an amount of approximately RMB 129.8 million, were dismissed by the court. Both parties are entitled to appeal within 15 days from the service of the civil judgment.

The Company will publish further announcements in due course in accordance with the GEM Listing Rules to inform its shareholders and potential investors of material developments in respect of the above litigation.
