BANK OF E ASIA (00023.HK): Change of Company Secretary and Authorised Representative

NewTimeSpace News: On 1 September 2026, The Bank of East Asia, Limited (stock code: 00023) announced that Mr. Law Chuen Tak has retired as Company Secretary and ceased to be the authorised representative under Rule 3.05 of the Listing Rules, with effect from 1 September 2026, as he is due to retire. Mr. Law confirmed that there is no disagreement with the Board.

Ms. Lam Pui Sze has been appointed as Company Secretary and authorised representative, effective the same day. Ms. Lam is a qualified lawyer in Hong Kong and in England and Wales, joined the Bank in March 2022 and currently serves as General Manager and Head of Group Legal and Corporate Secretariat, with 27 years of experience in the legal and financial services sectors. She holds a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Manchester.
