XPENG-W (09868.HK): Delivered 39,107 vehicles in August, up 4% year on year, robotaxi obtains Guangzhou remote testing qualification

NewTimeSpace News: On 1 September 2026, XPeng Inc. (stock code: 09868) announced that it delivered a total of 39,107 new vehicles in August 2026, representing a year-on-year increase of 4%.

On 11 August 2026, the XPeng G9L made its official debut and opened for pre-sale in Mainland China. In August, the Company further accelerated the validation of its robotaxi business, obtaining the remote testing qualification for intelligent connected vehicles in Guangzhou, which allows driverless road testing with no safety driver in the front seat on the relevant Level 1, 2 and 3 test roads in Guangzhou, entering the key road validation stage of front-seat driverless operation.

From January to August 2026, the electric vehicles delivered by the Group are estimated to reduce greenhouse gas emissions by more than 3.72 million tonnes over their full life cycle compared with internal combustion engine vehicles, equivalent to the carbon absorption of 61.6 million saplings over ten years.
