CSPC PHARMA (01093.HK): Phase II Clinical Trial of SYH2069 Injection for Weight Management in Overweight or Obese Adults Launched at First Study Site in China

NewTimeSpace News: On 28 August 2026, CSPC Pharmaceutical Group Limited (stock code: 01093) announced that the Phase II clinical trial (SYH2069-004) of SYH2069 Injection, developed by the Group for weight management in overweight or obese adult patients, had been officially launched at the first study site in China.

The product is a novel long-acting dual-target dual-biased agonist of GLP-1R and GIPR, expected to synergistically exert glucose-lowering and weight-reducing effects by suppressing appetite, delaying gastric emptying, increasing satiety and reducing caloric intake. The Group obtained the Drug Clinical Trial Approval Notice issued by the National Medical Products Administration in December 2025 for this indication.

The Phase II clinical trial is a multicenter, randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled, parallel clinical trial designed to evaluate the efficacy and safety of the product in obese participants without diabetes, and participant recruitment and screening are being actively advanced.
