AMS TRANSPORT (00077.HK): Prof. So Wai Man Elected Independent Non-Executive Director; Kwong Ki Chi Retires

NewTimeSpace News: On 27 August 2026, AMS Public Transport Holdings Limited (stock code: 00077) announced that, following the conclusion of the annual general meeting held on the same day, Professor So Wai Man was elected as an independent non-executive director and appointed as chairman of the audit committee and a member of the nomination and remuneration committees, while Mr. Kwong Ki Chi retired as an independent non-executive director and ceased to hold the above committee positions. Mr. Kwong confirmed that there is no disagreement with the Board.

Professor So, aged 61, is a senior financial economist and public administrator with over 30 years of experience in financial management, public service and higher education. He currently serves as Senior Assistant Executive Director of the Vocational Training Council and a member of the SFC's Product Advisory Committee, and previously served as Deputy Secretary for Transport and Housing of the HKSAR Government and Dean of the College of International Education of Hong Kong Baptist University. His annual director's fee is HKD 384,000, with a term expiring at the conclusion of the 2029 annual general meeting.
