Micot (02335.HK): Phase‑II Clinical Trial of MT200605 for Acute Ischemic Stroke Completed, AKI Incidence Reduced by Over 80% in High‑dose Cohort

NewTimeSpace News: Micot announced on August 26 that the Phase‑II clinical trial of MT200605 for acute ischemic stroke has been completed. Results showed that the proportion of patients with mRS ≤1 in the high‑dose cohort was significantly higher than that in the placebo group, and the incidence of acute kidney injury (AKI) in the high‑dose cohort decreased by more than 80% versus the placebo group.

NewTimeSpace News: On August 26, 2026,Micot(02335.HK) announced the completion of its Phase‑II clinical trial of MT200605 for acute ischemic stroke. A total of 360 subjects were randomised in a 1:1:1:1 ratio into low‑dose, medium‑dose, high‑dose and placebo cohorts, receiving 14‑day consecutive intravenous infusions.

According to the announcement, for the primary efficacy endpoint, the proportion of patients achieving mRS≤1 in the high‑dose cohort was significantly higher than in the placebo group with statistically significant difference, demonstrating a clear dose‑response relationship. From the safety perspective, the incidence of AKI in the high‑dose cohort fell by over 80% compared with the placebo group. MT200605 is a first‑in‑class small‑molecule TrkB agonist capable of crossing the blood‑brain barrier.
