HAIWEI ELEC (09609.HK): Sheng Zhixuan steps down as chief financial officer, Xu Haiqiang appointed as successor

NewTimeSpace News: On 25 August 2026, HAIWEI ELEC (09609.HK) announced that Mr. Sheng Zhixuan has ceased to be chief financial officer to devote more time to his continuing responsibilities in corporate governance, Listing Rules compliance and internal control, remaining as executive director, board secretary and joint company secretary; Mr. Xu Haiqiang, a Chinese CPA who previously served as audit manager at Da Hua CPAs, was appointed as chief financial officer on the same day.

NewTimeSpace News: On 25 August 2026, Hebei Haiwei Electronic New Material Technology Co., Ltd. (stock code: 09609) announced that Mr. Sheng Zhixuan has ceased to be the chief financial officer of the Company, due to his intention to devote more time and energy to his continuing responsibilities, including matters relating to corporate governance, Listing Rules compliance and internal control, with effect from 25 August 2026. Mr. Sheng will continue to serve as an executive director, board secretary and joint company secretary of the Company, and confirmed that there is no disagreement with the board.

On the same day, Mr. Xu Haiqiang was appointed as chief financial officer of the Company, with effect from 25 August 2026. The announcement stated that Mr. Xu, aged 37, is a Chinese Certified Public Accountant with extensive experience in accounting, auditing and financial management; prior to joining the Company in June 2026, he worked at Da Hua CPAs (Special General Partnership) from 2012 to 2026, with his last position being audit manager; he obtained a bachelor's degree in economics from Shanxi University in 2012 and has been a member of the Chinese Institute of Certified Public Accountants since 2016.
