I-CABLE COMM (01097.HK): Completes name change to CTF Media & Entertainment, stock short names to change to CTFME
NewTimeSpace News: On 25 August 2026, CTF Media & Entertainment Limited (formerly known as i-CABLE Communications Limited) (stock code: 01097) announced that, following the passing of a special resolution approving the proposed change of company name at the shareholders' meeting held on 17 August 2026, the Registrar of Companies in Hong Kong has issued a certificate of change of name dated 17 August 2026, certifying the change of the Company's name from i-CABLE Communications Limited to CTF Media & Entertainment Limited , effective from 17 August 2026.
The announcement stated that the English stock short name for trading the Company's shares on the Stock Exchange will be changed from I-CABLE COMM to CTFME, and the Chinese stock short name will be changed from 有线宽频 to 周大福媒体娱乐, with effect from 9:00 a.m. on 28 August 2026, while the stock code 1097 remains unchanged. The Company's website has also been changed from www.i-cablecomm.com to www.ctfme.com, with effect from the date of this announcement.
The change of company name will not affect any rights of the shareholders or the daily business operations and financial position of the Group; all existing issued share certificates printed with the former name will continue to be certificates of title to the relevant shares and remain valid for trading, settlement, registration and delivery purposes. The Company will not make any arrangements for free exchange of existing share certificates for new certificates printed with the new name, and all new share certificates will be issued in the new name with effect from 28 August 2026.
