CHINA OILFIELD (02883.HK): Company Secretary and Authorised Representative Resigns, Chairman to Act Temporarily
NewTimeSpace News: On 25 August 2026, China Oilfield Services Limited (stock code: 02883) announced the resignation of Mr. Sun Weizhou as Company Secretary and authorised representative under Rule 3.05 of the Listing Rules due to a work adjustment, with effect from 25 August 2026. Mr. Sun confirmed that there is no disagreement with the Board.
According to the announcement, the Board's third meeting of 2026 has approved that Mr. Liu Jianzhong, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, will temporarily perform the duties of Company Secretary until a new Company Secretary is appointed. Following the resignation, the Company is temporarily unable to comply with Rule 3.05 (requiring two authorised representatives) and Rule 3.28 (requiring a company secretary with appropriate qualifications) of the Listing Rules, and is seeking suitable candidates to fill the vacancies as soon as practicable, with further announcement to be made in due course.
