Newtrend (02573.HK): Signs Construction Contract for Ji’an Production Plant Worth Approximately RMB 110 Million

NewTimeSpace News: On August 24, 2026,Newtrend(02573.HK) announced that the Company signed a construction contract with Ji’an Taicheng on August 24, 2026. Ji’an Taicheng agreed to carry out construction works for production workshops and supporting facilities of the Ji’an plant. The contract value stands at approximately RMB 109.93 million (tax‑included), covering a total gross floor area of around 54,600 square metres. Construction is scheduled to commence on 16 September 2026 and shall be completed no later than 31 December 2027.

According to the announcement, the Ji’an production plant is designed for projects with an annual output of 40,000 tonnes of dietary fibre and prebiotics, 20,000 tonnes of functional sugar alcohols as well as by‑product starch sugars. Its product portfolio includes high‑end functional ingredients such as resistant dextrin, isomaltooligosaccharide and crystalline maltitol.
