CSSC SHIPPING (03877.HK): Li Hongtao steps down as Chief Executive Officer, Liu Hui appointed as successor

NewTimeSpace News: On 24 August 2026, CSSC SHIPPING (03877.HK) announced that Mr. Li Hongtao has resigned as Chief Executive Officer due to his intention to devote more time to other business commitments, remaining as Chairman of the board, an executive director and chairman of several board committees; Mr. Liu Hui, an executive director, was appointed as Chief Executive Officer on the same day without additional remuneration.

NewTimeSpace News: On 24 August 2026, CSSC (Hong Kong) Shipping Company Limited (stock code: 03877) announced that Mr. Li Hongtao has resigned as Chief Executive Officer with effect from 24 August 2026, due to his intention to devote more time to other business commitments. Mr. Li will continue to serve as Chairman of the board, an executive director, and chairman of the nomination committee, the strategy and investment committee and the ESG and sustainable development committee. Mr. Li confirmed that there is no disagreement with the board and no matters relating to his resignation as Chief Executive Officer that need to be brought to the attention of the shareholders.

On the same day, Mr. Liu Hui, an executive director, was appointed as Chief Executive Officer, and will not receive any additional remuneration for his appointment. Details of Mr. Liu's biography are set out in the Company's announcement dated 25 September 2025 and remain unchanged as of the date of this announcement. The announcement also disclosed that Mr. Liu has not held any directorship in any public company listed in Hong Kong or any overseas securities market in the past three years, does not hold any other position in the Company or other members of the Group, has no relationship with any director, senior management, substantial shareholder or controlling shareholder of the Company, and has no interest in the shares of the Company.
