51WORLD (06651.HK): Establishes Joint Venture with Shenzhen Union Vision, Launches Embodied AI Data Platform AperData

NewTimeSpace News: On 20 August 2026, Beijing 51WORLD Digital Twin Technology Co., Ltd. (06651.HK) voluntarily announced that the company has established a joint venture, Shenzhen Wanwu Linchang Intelligent Technology Co., Ltd., with Shenzhen Union Vision Co., Ltd., focusing on addressing the core problem of scarce real-world data in the embodied AI industry, and launched AperData, a software-hardware integrated embodied AI data platform, on 18 August 2026, providing products and services covering the full chain from real-world collection to deliverable, trainable data. Union Vision is an independent third party, and as the highest applicable percentage ratio was below 5%, the establishment of the joint venture does not constitute a notifiable transaction.

Established in 2014, Union Vision is a national high-tech enterprise specializing in the R&D, manufacturing and services of camera modules, vision algorithm solutions and imaging systems, with full-chain self-controllable capabilities from module R&D to algorithm solutions to complete systems, and its products include the world's first depth camera integrating an iTOF depth sensor and an RGB vision sensor on a single chip. Since its launch on 18 August 2026, AperData has received over 10,000 product orders, with first mass-production deliveries scheduled to begin at the end of August 2026; its data collection achieves physical trajectory consistency of over 99%, and it is positioned as a neutral third-party data operation platform.

The group will leverage its existing accumulations including the SimOne autonomous driving simulation platform and the Dataverse data platform, complementary to Union Vision's imaging hardware capabilities, to capture emerging market opportunities in embodied AI data infrastructure; the cooperation is a key step in the group's three-step development strategy, with plans to further extend into aerospace-related businesses.
