KONTA CHINA (01312.HK): Wang Limin resigns as President but remains Chairman, Li Qingshan appointed Executive Director and President
NewTimeSpace News: On 17 August 2026, KONTA China Group Limited (stock code: 01312) announced that Mr. Wang Limin, Executive Director and Chairman of the Board, has resigned as President of the Group due to internal work arrangement adjustments, but will remain Executive Director, Chairman of the Board, and Chairman of the Executive Committee, the Nomination Committee, the Share Trading Committee and the Investment Committee; Mr. Li Qingshan has been appointed Executive Director and President, as well as a member of the Executive Committee and the Share Trading Committee, all effective 17 August 2026.
According to the announcement, Mr. Li Qingshan, aged 46, has served as a member of the Party Committee of Shenzhen Huarongtai Asset Management Co., Ltd. since June 2024 and as its Deputy General Manager from June 2024 to July 2026; he served as a non-independent director of Shenzhen Huakong Seg Co., Ltd. (000068.SZ) from October 2024 to August 2026, and has held positions as chairman or director at several companies. Under the service contract, Mr. Li's appointment as Executive Director has no fixed term, and he has agreed to waive any directors' fees from the Company.
Mr. Wang has confirmed that he has no disagreement with the Board and there is no other matter in connection with his resignation that needs to be brought to the attention of shareholders and the Stock Exchange.
