NewTimeSpace News: On 17 August 2026, Gaush Meditech Ltd (stock code: 02407) announced that its subsidiary Gaushi Innovation Technology Company Limited has recently signed a five-year exclusive agency agreement with HEIDELBERG ENGINEERING GmbH of Germany in respect of the corneal confocal microscope T3, independently developed and produced by Gaushi Innovation. Under the agreement, HEIDELBERG will exclusively distribute and sell the relevant products globally except the People's Republic of China, and will be responsible for marketing and corresponding technical services.
The corneal confocal microscope T3, independently developed and produced by Gaushi Innovation, enables in vivo observation of the cornea and conjunctiva and assists in diagnosing various corneal and conjunctival diseases, including infectious diseases, non-infectious diseases (corneal degeneration, dystrophy, immunological disorders, keratoconus, etc.), as well as surgery-related, traumatic, dry eye and systemic disease-related corneal conditions, providing a basis for disease diagnosis and condition assessment.
HEIDELBERG is a globally leading provider of ophthalmic diagnostic solutions headquartered in Germany. Since the establishment of the company in 1998, the company has served as the exclusive distributor of HEIDELBERG's ophthalmic imaging systems in China, and the two parties have been important business partners to each other.
