C TRANSMISSION (00658.HK): Engages Internal Control Consultant for Further Review

NewTimeSpace News: On 14 August 2026, China High Speed Transmission Equipment Group Co., Ltd. (stock code: 00658) announced that it has engaged BDO China Shu Lun Pan Certified Public Accountants LLP (BDO China), an independent third party, to conduct a further internal control review. BDO China, a member firm of BDO International Limited, is not connected with the Company, its substantial shareholders or directors, to the best of the Board's knowledge.

BDO China will conduct a comprehensive review of the effectiveness of the Group's internal control system for the period from 1 January 2025 to 30 September 2026, covering 13 areas of internal control including discloseable transactions, connected transactions, financial assistance, treasury management and compliance with the Corporate Governance Code, as well as the irregularities, potential conflicts of interest and internal control deficiencies identified in the further investigation. BDO China is ready to commence the review in August 2026, with the new internal control review report expected to be issued around December 2026; the previously disclosed further investigation is estimated to take five to six months.
