NewTimeSpace News: On 14 August 2026, CHINAGOLDINTL (02099.HK) announced its 2026 interim results, recording total revenue of USD 914 million, up 57.52% year on year; net profit of USD 512 million, up 153.12% year on year; profit attributable to shareholders of USD 507 million, up 153.31% year on year; and earnings per share of USD 1.28.

In terms of profitability, the Company's gross profit increased from USD 277 million in the corresponding period last year to USD 620 million in the current period, up USD 343 million; gross margin rose from 47.74% to 67.83%, up 20.09 percentage points. Net profit increased from USD 202 million to USD 512 million, up USD 310 million, with net margin rising from 34.86% to 56.02%, up 21.16 percentage points.

In terms of earnings quality, operating profit increased from USD 244 million to USD 576 million, up USD 332 million, with operating margin rising from 41.97% to 63.01%, up 21.04 percentage points. Net cash flow from operating activities increased from an inflow of USD 335 million to an inflow of USD 555 million, up USD 220 million, with the ratio of operating cash flow to total revenue rising from 57.7% to 60.73%, up 3.03 percentage points.

In terms of financial soundness, the debt-to-asset ratio decreased from 36.29% to 26.03%, down 10.26 percentage points. Total equity increased from USD 1.981 billion to USD 2.661 billion, up USD 681 million; cash and cash equivalents increased from USD 309 million to USD 586 million, up USD 277 million; current liabilities decreased from USD 505 million to USD 419 million, down USD 86.05 million; and the quick ratio rose from 1.12 to 2.52.

In terms of R&D investment, R&D expenses increased from USD 8.552 million to USD 11.922 million, up USD 3.37 million, while the R&D-to-revenue ratio decreased from 1.47% to 1.3%, down 0.17 percentage points.
