NewTimeSpace News: On August 13, 2026,Kin Pang Holdings(01722.HK) issued a profit warning stating that, based on a preliminary assessment of unaudited consolidated management accounts, it expects to record a loss attributable to owners of the company of no less than MOP 25 million for the period, versus a profit of approximately MOP 0.4 million in the same period last year.

The announcement indicated that the turnaround from profit to loss was primarily attributable to a significant decrease in revenue of approximately 51% due to a reduction in the number of construction projects undertaken during the period, underutilization of property, plant and equipment, and the deduction of substantial unabsorbed fixed indirect costs (mainly depreciation expenses) from direct costs; in addition, certain construction projects incurred unexpected project offset expenses, leading to an increase in direct project costs.
