CITIC TELECOM (01883.HK): Wang Hua redesignated from non-executive to executive director, appointed CFO and financial committee member
NewTimeSpace News: On 13 August 2026, CITIC Telecom International Holdings Limited (stock code: 01883) announced that Ms. Wang Hua has been redesignated from a non-executive director to an executive director of the Company, and appointed as Chief Financial Officer and a member of the board financial committee, with effect from 13 August 2026.
Ms. Wang Hua, aged 50, was appointed as a non-executive director of the Company on 21 May 2024. She holds a master's degree in management and has successively served as head of the tax division, assistant to the general manager, deputy general manager of the finance department and deputy general manager of the human resources department of CITIC Group Corporation (CITIC Group, the ultimate holding company of the Company), and serves as a non-executive director of CITIC Securities Company Limited (CSC, listed on The Stock Exchange of Hong Kong Limited (the Hong Kong Exchange) and the Shanghai Stock Exchange). Ms. Wang has long been engaged in financial work within CITIC Group, having participated in major projects including the overall listing of CITIC Limited (the controlling shareholder of the Company, listed on the Hong Kong Exchange), and previously served as a director of CITIC Heavy Industries Co., Ltd.
The announcement disclosed that under the service contract entered into with the Company, Ms. Wang is entitled to an annual remuneration of HKD 2,141,100,plus a discretionary bonus to be determined by the remuneration committee with reference to the Group's performance and her individual performance; she will retire by rotation and be eligible for re-election in accordance with the Company's articles of association. As of the date of this announcement, Ms. Wang holds no securities of the Company and, apart from the disclosures above, has no relationship with any director, senior management, substantial shareholder or controlling shareholder of the Company, nor has she held any directorship in other public companies (whose securities are listed on any securities market in Hong Kong or overseas) currently or in the past three years, with no other information required to be disclosed.
