CGN NEW ENERGY (01811.HK): July power generation down 5.5% YoY to 1,635.6 GWh; 7-month cumulative down 2.7%
NewTimeSpace News: On 12 August 2026, CGN New Energy Holdings Co., Ltd. (stock code: 01811) issued a voluntary announcement stating that, on a consolidated basis, the Group completed power generation of 1,635.6 GWh in July 2026, down 5.5% year on year. Wind power projects in China generated 785.0 GWh, down 11.3% YoY, mainly due to notably lower average wind speeds in most regions where the Company's wind projects are located in July 2026. Solar power projects in China generated 328.5 GWh, down 1.2% YoY. Gas-fired projects in China generated 36.5 GWh, down 36.3% YoY, mainly because dispatched electricity of the Company's gas-fired project in Hubei dropped notably in July 2026. Hydropower projects in China generated 33.1 GWh, down 5.4% YoY. Projects in South Korea generated 452.5 GWh, up 7.3% YoY, as the Daesan Phase II gas-fired project in South Korea commenced commercial operation on 24 July 2026.
For the seven months ended 31 July 2026, the Group completed cumulative power generation of 10,942.9 GWh, down 2.7% YoY. Wind power projects in China generated 5,308.6 GWh, down 16.9% YoY. Solar power projects in China generated 1,891.1 GWh, up 27.2% YoY. Gas-fired projects in China generated 58.8 GWh, down 25.4% YoY. Hydropower projects in China generated 127.4 GWh, up 7.1% YoY. Projects in South Korea generated 3,557.0 GWh, up 12.1% YoY.
