JINCHUAN GROUP INTERNATIONAL RESOURCES (02362.HK): Expected H1 Profit Attributable to Shareholders of US$30 Million to US$50 Million
NewTimeSpace News: On 11 August 2026, JINCHUAN GROUP INTERNATIONAL RESOURCES (02362.HK) issued a positive profit forecast. Based on preliminary review of the latest unaudited consolidated management accounts, the Group expects to register consolidated profit attributable to shareholders of approximately US$30 million to US$50 million in the first half-year, versus around US$5.5 million recorded in the same period last year, posting significant year-on-year growth.
According to the announcement, the profit growth is mainly driven by rising market copper prices, expanded output at the Musonoi Mine following its commissioning in November 2025 and higher overall sales volume which boosted revenue from copper products and lifted gross profit notably. Such gains were partially offset by increased depreciation and interest costs at Musonoi Mine resulting from the cessation of capitalisation upon commencement of production.
