Tailam Tech Construction Holdings (06193.HK): Expected to Record Loss of Approximately RMB2.3 Million in First Half

NewTimeSpace News: Tailam Tech Construction Holdings announced on 7 August that it expects to record a consolidated loss of about RMB2.3 million for the six months ended 30 June 2026, compared with an unaudited consolidated profit of approximately RMB6.4 million in the corresponding period last year, marking a swing from profit to loss.

NewTimeSpace News: On 7 August 2026, Tailam Tech Construction Holdings (06193.HK) issued a profit warning. Based on preliminary review of the latest unaudited consolidated management accounts, the Group forecasts a consolidated loss of roughly RMB2.3 million for the current period, versus an unaudited consolidated profit of around RMB6.4 million registered in the same period of last year.

The announcement stated that the swing from profit to loss is mainly attributable to the persistently weak overall market environment and sluggish demand in the construction sector. The commencement and construction progress of several infrastructure projects have slowed down, resulting in lower product sales and deliveries as well as reduced revenue. Meanwhile, intensified industry competition has weighed on selling prices, volatile raw material costs have added cost pressures, and the overall gross profit margin has declined accordingly.
